Booking Terms

www.bloco.co.uk is an innovative website that offers event tickets, white label services and admin control as well as other add-ons to create your event journey. www.bloco.co.uk is operated by Bloco Ltd, company number 12279811, with its registered office address at 3 Mary Street, Birmingham, B3 1UD, United Kingdom ("Bloco", "we" or "us").

Bloco does not itself own or supply any of the hotel services, facilities or arrangements sold on our website. All sales are sold by us as agent for the individual service providers and your contract(s) is/are with the individual service provider(s). You may have more than one contract for your booking and the individual service providers’ terms and conditions will apply to each contract. We advise you to read all contract terms carefully as they contain important information about your booking.

Sales on our site may comprise ticket-only sales, other single element sales, event packages or linked merchandise arrangements. Ticket-only, hotel-only and other single element sales: If you buy a Event or weekender ticket(s) on our website as a single element without any additional services, or you buy a ticket with accommodation, we act solely as an agent in making arrangements on your behalf and your contract is with the event organiser, hotelier or other supplier, as applicable. Also note that if you return to our website at a later date and purchase an additional service, this is also a single element sale that we sell to you as agent and your contract is with the supplier. Single element purchases that we sell as agent do not have financial protection.

Our Booking Terms form part of our contract with you and are legally binding so please read them carefully.

References to “you” and “your” in these Booking Terms include the first-named person on the booking (see section 2.5 below) and all persons on whose behalf a booking is made or any other person to whom a booking is transferred.

1. How to book

1.1 All tickets are subject to availability. Event organisers supply us with a limited number of tickets for sale within a limited sales period and so we only have a limited number of tickets available at the prices indicated.

1.2 To make a booking for your event ticket, simply follow the instructions on our website to select the number of attendees and event ticket category for the Event. Accommodation, merchandise and other options will also be shown, as applicable: simply select accommodation, merchandise and or other options that you choose from the list of services that you want. The tickets and services are priced individually and will be shown as you make your selection; the total price for the individual services that you have selected will be shown when you have finished making your selections and are ready to check-out. You must select the “Book Now” button to proceed to the payment and check-out page. All tickets and other services are payable in full on booking.

Subscription services will be indicated in text format of payment schedules, deposits required and the account the payments will continue from until product is paid in full.

1.3 A contract is only formed once we have issued you with an email booking confirmation setting out the full details of your tickets and any other services booked. We will only issue your booking confirmation once full payment has been received. Please check your booking confirmation carefully and contact us immediately at support [at] bloco.co.uk if anything on the booking confirmation appears to be incorrect or incomplete.

1.4 Your contract will be with the individual service provider and the terms and conditions of that individual service provider will apply to the service being provided. Accordingly, where you purchase more than one service, there will be more than one contract. We advise you to read carefully the terms of the provider(s) of your booking as they contain important information. Please ask us or copies if you do not have them.

1.5 The person who makes the booking will be deemed to be the lead name for the booking and will be listed as the contracting party on the booking confirmation. The lead name will be responsible for ensuring that all payments are made (although payments can be accepted from other names on the booking) as well as advising us of any amendments or cancellations. We are only authorised to accept amendments and cancellations notified to us by the lead name in writing including by email or edited on the block app. Any cancellation or amendment of a ticket or other service may involve an amendment or cancellation charge. Please note all Bloco booking fees are non refundable under no circumstances. (see clause 7 below. By making the booking the lead name confirms that he/she:

1.5.1 has read these Booking Terms and is authorised to, and agrees to, enter into a contract with the respective service providers in accordance with their terms and conditions on behalf of all parties named in the booking;

1.5.2 consents to our use of information in accordance with these Booking Terms and our Privacy & Cookies Policy;

1.5.3 is over 18 years of age, and where placing an order for tickets or other services with age restrictions, declares that he/she and all members of the party are of the appropriate age to purchase those tickets or services.

2. Price of your ticket and other services

2.1 The price of your ticket, the ticket booking fee and the price of other services that are offered such merchandise or accommodation are set by the service providers and are displayed on the website. Full details of what is included in the price of your ticket and other services that we offer are shown on our website. Anything not specifically described on our website as being included in the price is extra, and you will need to pay the Event organiser, promoter or accommodation directly for any services not included in the price of your ticket or other service.

2.2 The price of event tickets, the booking fee and any other services advertised on our website may be changed at any time before you book. The price of the event ticket including the booking fee and each additional service that you wish to purchase will be confirmed before you proceed with the booking, together with any applicable taxes, such as local city or tourist taxes, and fees.

3. Payment and fees

3.1 In order to make a booking, you must pay the total price of your Event ticket and any other services that you have selected in full at the time of booking, together with the booking fee set by the service provider. No booking confirmation will be issued until the full amount has been received.

We accept most credit and debit cards as well as other forms of payment. Please check our website for details.

3.2 We take all reasonable care to ensure that our website is secure and to ensure that it is not possible for any third party to access your payment or other personal information. However we cannot be held liable in the event that any third party obtains personal data or information in an unauthorised manner, unless due to our own negligence.

3.3 By entering your payment details, you confirm that the payment details belong to you. All credit and debit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If your card issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will not be able to process your booking.

3.4 If you select our Subscription Plan option the Subscription Plan Terms will also apply to your payment and booking.

3.5 We charge a small fee for the majority of bookings made, including those using the Subscription Plan method of payment. All such fees are used to cover the cost of setting up and managing the Subscription Plan, as well as the marketing, promotion, distribution and other costs involved in offering packages to some of the country’s finest events. All booking fees are disclosed before completing payment to ensure you are aware of the total cost before committing to a booking.

3.6 Bloco shall ensure that all sums due to the Promoter or event organiser relating to an Event are available to be withdrawn by the Promoter after 5 working days from the end of the Event.

3.7 A Customer may apply for a refund of the price of the Ticket prior to the Event in question, provided that Tickets for the Event remain on sale. Acceptance of refunds are determined by the Event’s refund policy, which is set by the Promoter, and it is the Customer’s responsibility to check this policy with the Promoter prior to purchasing the Ticket. Bloco shall not be liable to the Customer for any refunds. All booking fees are non refundable.

3.8 If the Promoter agrees to provide the Customer with a refund in accordance with clauses 3.7, and notifies Bloco that it has agreed to provide such refund, Bloco will process any refund due to such Customer within a reasonable period and, in any case, within 30 days of the day the refund is notified by the Promoter.

3.9 If an Event or Offer is cancelled, the Promoter of the Event or Offer will inform the Customer and Bloco prior to such cancellation and hereby authorises Bloco to refund to the User the Ticket price minus the booking fee, which shall not be refunded in any circumstances.

4. Event tickets

4.1 Entry into the Event is only permitted on production of a valid ticket or pass. We will supply tickets to you in advance of the Event date. We may deliver tickets by a different means from the one specified in order to ensure that you receive your ticket in advance e.g. email instead of post. Accordingly, if we issue you with an e-ticket, you must bring that e-ticket and present it at the check-in point in order to gain entry into the event. You must use the e-ticket issued in your name and no other e-ticket. You must not allow others to use your e-ticket. If someone else has used your e-ticket you will not be allowed entry. The Event organiser may refuse you entry if you fail to produce all of the aforementioned documents. Bloco shall have no liability for any refusal of admission on the basis of failure to produce valid documentation.

4.2 Customers must comply with last entry times, codes of conduct and all other requirements of the Event organiser and the Event organiser has the absolute right to determine entry. Bloco shall not be liable for any non-admission by the organiser.

4.3 Artists and attractions included in the Event programme may be subject to change. We will advise you of any changes as soon as advised by the Event organiser or promoter. The terms and conditions of the Event organiser apply to any changes and changes are generally not refundable.

4.4 Event tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferable unless the Event is cancelled or re-scheduled by the organiser/promoter in accordance with the Events terms and conditions.

5. Cancellations and amendments by you

5.1 Please note that most Event tickets are non-refundable and the booking fee is always non-refundable. If you wish to cancel the Event ticket or any other service that you have booked after your email booking confirmation has been issued, you must notify us in writing and cancellation shall not take effect until the notice is received by us. Where tickets are non-refundable, this will mean the supplier or event organiser will retain your full booking payment, including the booking fee, as a cancellation charge. If you do not arrive at your booked venue by the time/date printed on your booking confirmation, this is usually deemed to be a cancellation by you and no refund will be payable to you.

5.2 In some cases, the Event organiser may allow you to process a name change for a Event ticket. To arrange this, you will need to log into your account, or your app to make the changes on your order confirmation page.

5.3 If you have purchased Booking Protect, check the terms and conditions of Booking Protect to see if you are able to claim a refund. See Clause 9, Refund protection.

Booking fees are not refundable in the event of cancellation of the Event or other services that you have purchased.

6. Complaints

6.1 If you have a problem while you are at the Event, accommodation or during another part of your trip, you must report this to the Event organiser, accommodation or other relevant supplier without undue delay who will endeavour to put things right. If it is not resolved locally, please follow this up after your return home, ideally within 14 days, by contacting us at support@bloco.co.uk

Bloco.co.uk giving your booking reference and all other relevant information and we will attempt to remedy your complaint with the supplier on your behalf.
